St-Luc

When, in the early morning, the sun combines with freshly fallen snow, nobody can escape this white magic. The pleasure of the downhill is increased by the grandeur of the scenery. Welcome to the St-Luc/Chandolin ski area, the largest of Anniviers! A funicular, two chairlifts and 13 ski lifts lead to 70 km of pistes for all levels. There is extensive off piste skiing for the more experienced. In addition, it includes a snowpark in St-Luc and a 3.5 km sledge piste in Chandolin. The ski area rises to 3000 m at Bella-Tola and allows to go back down to the chalet on your skis by the magnificent piste of Prilet. Skiing in St-Luc/Chandolin is both attractive and varied with pistes following the open mountain and dropping down through pine forests to the village below. Queuing is rare, the slopes uncrowded and the scenery stunning. The ski area is open from mid-December to mid-April (Easter).

 Val d’Anniviers

 If the St-Luc/Chandolin ski area is not enough, you can access other ski areas of Val d'Annniviers (Grimentz, Vercorin and Zinal) thanks to the common ski pass for unlimited winter fun. The connection between the different areas is ensured by free shuttle buses. Some 46 facilities with 220 km of pistes await skiers, snowboarders and other telemark enthusiasts. The Anniviers ski areas are varied and give everyone the possibility to evolve according to his level on well-prepared slopes under a bright sunshine. Many mountain huts or panoramic terraces allow moments of well-deserved relaxation. Cross-country skiers can enjoy 19 km of tracks in Zinal. Besides skiing, winter attractions in the valley also includes three snowparks, a freeride area, an Avalanche Training Center, snowshoeing, sledding and snow-tubing.
